Manisha Rani, the winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, has finally broken her silence on her dispute with Elvish Yadav. The controversy, which has been making headlines, started over a seemingly simple issue – a cover photo for a collaborative post on Instagram.
According to Manisha Rani, Elvish Yadav was supposed to post a picture featuring both of them. However, he disregarded this agreement and instead posted a picture of himself with Akshay Kumar. “I did not like it when I saw the photo because the collaboration was between Elvish and me. That video was visible on both of our profiles. When it is on my profile, my photo should have been there too,” Manisha Rani explained.
Despite repeated requests from her team, Elvish Yadav refused to change the picture. He even went as far as to say, “What is the problem? The cover photo will not be changed. Tell Manisha Rani that whenever she collaborates next, she can put her family picture then.”
Manisha Rani described Elvish’s behavior as “egoistic” and stated that she unfollowed the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner on Instagram out of “self-respect”. She argued that it was “common sense” to use a picture featuring her in the post. As a result of this dispute, she decided to end the ‘Elvisha’ fandom, stating that they no longer share a friendly bond.
“Jo banda mere saath ek cover photo nahi daal sakta hai, jab uska ego hai toh mera bhi self respect hai,” she said, emphasizing her stand on the issue.
Manisha Rani and Elvish Yadav first met inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, where their bond was widely enjoyed by viewers. Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of the show. After Bigg Boss, Manisha Rani participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and emerged as its winner. Following her recent JDJ victory, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukraa Insaan congratulated her, but Elvish Yadav did not reach out to her.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of respect and understanding in collaborations, and how a small misunderstanding can lead to a major fallout.
