In a surprising turn of events, media tycoon Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to Elena Zhukova, a retired molecular biologist. This will mark Murdoch’s fifth walk down the aisle, and at the ripe age of 93, he seems undeterred by the prospect of yet another marriage.
The billionaire mogul, whose conservative media empire spans the globe, shared the news with his own tabloid newspaper, the New York Post. “I was very nervous. I dreaded falling in love – but I knew this would be my last. It better be. I’m happy,”
Murdoch confessed about his new fiancée, Ann Lesley Smith, whom he met in September of 2022. Smith, aged 66, was previously married to Chester Smith, a country singer and radio and TV executive.
