AYODHYA – Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela made headlines with her recent visit to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Photos of her visit, which have surfaced online, show her offering prayers to the Ram Lalla statue at the temple and spending time with the temple authorities. The visit has sparked rumours about her potential entry into politics.
Urvashi Rautela was seen in a yellow ensemble during her visit, accompanied by her team. After the darshans, she posed for a few pictures with the temple’s pujari. These photos have since gone viral on X, previously known as Twitter.

In a recent interview, Urvashi Rautela hinted at a possible political career. The actress, who will be seen in the upcoming film ‘JNU‘, revealed that she has already received a ticket and is contemplating whether to contest. “I have already got the ticket. And now I have to decide whether to go into politics or not. I don’t know whether I will go into politics or not, but I would definitely like to know from the fans. They should tell me whether I should join politics or not,” – she said.
‘JNU’, directed by Vinay Sharma and produced by Pratima Datta, was announced earlier this month. The film stars Rautela and Ravi Kishan in lead roles. Reportedly, the film draws inspiration from the infamous events at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. During the film’s promotion, Urvashi Rautela shared her experience and how she has been able to fulfil her father’s dream by being a part of the project.
Urvashi Rautela claimed that her father always wanted her to study at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) since she was in school. In the film, she will be seen playing the role of a student at the university, who faces challenges and gets involved in college politics.
