The international music sensation, Ed Sheeran, recently had a heartwarming reunion with Bollywood’s beloved director, Farah Khan, marking their first encounter in seven years. Currently in India for his Asia Europe Tour 2024, Ed Sheeran has been making the most of his time, catching up with old friends and Bollywood stalwarts like Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan.
At a star-studded party hosted by Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, the acclaimed actress of the web series ‘Maharani’, had a delightful surprise. She discovered that the British singer-songwriter is a fan of the cult classic ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur‘.
Sharing her excitement, Huma Qureshi took to Instagram and posted a picture with Sheeran, captioning it, “Last night when @teddysphotos told me he loved #gangsofwasseypur bas aur kya night was made !!! happy faces .. thank u @farahkhankunder for the being the best host and taking the worst photos no one like you.”
The party was a grand affair with many celebrities in attendance, including Aryan Khan, Malaika Arora, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Anusha Dandekar, Arshad Warsi, Madhuri Dixit with Dr. Shriram Nene, and Maheep Kapoor, among others.
Earlier, upon his arrival in India, Ed Sheeran met Farah Khan, who shared a picture of them relaxing on a couch on Instagram, captioning it, “Relax mode with the loveliest guy ever..”
Ed Sheeran’s India concert, part of his Asia and Europe Tour in 2024, will conclude at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16, 2024. The general admission tickets are priced at Rs 9,500, while the South Deck ticket, offering an elevated experience, costs Rs 16,000. This marks Ed Sheeran’s third concert in India, following his last performance in 2017.
This memorable night not only highlighted Ed Sheeran’s love for Bollywood but also his appreciation for Indian cinema, leaving fans and celebrities alike thrilled and looking forward to his upcoming concert.
