Karan Kundrra, a renowned actor and former Bigg Boss contestant, has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry. With his charismatic personality, he has amassed a significant fan following, particularly among female audiences.
His journey to stardom began with the television show ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai‘, where he played the role of Arjun Punj. His on-screen chemistry with co-star Kritika Kamra, who portrayed Arohi, captivated audiences and earned them widespread acclaim.
Despite his initial success, Karan Kundrra’s journey was not devoid of struggles. In a recent interview with Mashable India for ‘The Bombay Journey’, he opened up about the challenges he faced in his career.
He stated, “People think that getting your first break means the end of struggles, but the real challenge begins when you reach the top. It may be easy to reach there, but staying there is another thing; no one just lets you stay. Everyone faces different types of struggles, ours is just a bit unique.”
Karan Kundrra also expressed admiration for Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who had previously spoken candidly about his career struggles in an interview with Mashable.
Karan Kundrra shared, “King Bobby or Lord Bobby that was one of my favourite interviews. That guy is so sensitive; he openly talked about his life and his love for his wife. But someone calling him a DJ bothers him and it made me think even Bobby had his struggles. Despite achieving success during the initial period he faced a period of four to five years and I thought, man he’s the real deal.”
Bobby Deol, who portrayed a mute villain in the action thriller film ‘Animal’, received considerable praise for his performance. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, was one of the biggest hits of 2023.
Karan Kundrra’s career, on the other hand, has been diverse and dynamic. Apart from ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’, he has appeared in shows like ‘Dil Hi To Hai’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, and served as a judge on ‘MTV Roadies’. On the film front, he has appeared in films like ‘Mubarkan’, ‘1921’ and the recently released ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’.
In conclusion, Karan Kundrra’s journey is a testament to his resilience and determination. His openness about his struggles serves as an inspiration to many, reminding us that success is not just about reaching the top, but also about the ability to stay there amidst challenges.
